Feathered napkin rings

For each napkin ring:
Fabric scissors
Various scraps of coloured felt
Matching embroidery thread
Fabric glue
{1} Cut one 17cm x 4cm rectangle from one felt colour and one 15cm x 4cm rectangle in a different colour. Pin the smaller rectangle to the middle of the larger, leaving a 1cm gap at the two ends.
{2} Using a running stitch, stitch the smaller rectangle in place. With the larger rectangle facing outwards, overlap the short sides to form a loop and stich closed.
{3} Using the online templates and the instructions opposite, make one small and one large feather for each napkin ring.
{4} Place fabric glue along the spine of the large feather and fix it to the front of the ring. Add some glue to the back of the smaller feather and place it at a slight angle on top of the larger one.
